Lemon Law

In Today is a pretty boring day. But I am in an exceptional mood. Weighed in at the recruiters this morning, and I am down another 3% body fat in the last two weeks. I am so close to my weight goal for joining. Only a few more weeks to go.

As to the content of today's blog. I am gonna talk about my favorite show on television at the moment. How I Met Your Mother.

This show is brilliant. The characters are funny, believable, and you can get easily attached to them. For those who are unfamiliar with the show, its a sitcom in its 7th season about a man who is telling his kids the story of how he met their mother. The show spans a few years in the life of Ted Moseby and his friends having a bunch of adventures in NYC. There are a ton of jokes and lines from the show that people reference in real life.

One of my favorites is the Lemon Law. This usually applies to cars, and when you first buy them, you can decide they aren't for them, they can return them. in the show though, Barney Stinson, played by the wonderful Neil Patrick Harris, applies it to the first 5 minutes of a date. If he decides that he doesn't like the woman within the first 5 minutes, he Lemon Laws them, and ends the date. It's freaking hilarious when he does it. All his friends think its stupid and will never catch on, but then late in the episode a girl actually Lemon Laws him. Brilliant.

The show is filled with amazing moments that will make you laugh, cry, and have emotions you never knew a sitcom could bring out in you. Its pretty awesome though. I love it.

So yeah, thats how boring my life is...I have to write a blog post about How I Met Your Mother. Hopefully life gets a little bit more interesting in the next few days. 3. Y'know, I have yet to see this show despite all the good stuff I hear 'bout it. Plus it stars NPH, I mean it's GOTTA be awesome if he's in it, stereotypes notwithstanding.

I mean, it's gotta be hard being set aside from the rest of humanity and said to be made of pure win. What if he actually, y'know, fails at something? Other people can just get back up and keep goin', but a person who is 100% awesome that's gotta hurt more.

Insert "When I feel bad I stop feeling bad and feel awesome instead, true story" commentary here.

Also, good job on the weigh-in! Keep it goin' man, DON'T START WALKING 'TIL YER PAST THE GOAL!!! RUN TO THE END, YO!
